Well, we all have to start somewhere so this is my start. This site is a work in progress and am learning as I go.

Hello and welcome! My name is Anjanette and my intention with this website is to have a space to express myself and share what I create. There will be an area on here for others to share their creative endeavors as well. For now, feel free to share in the comments sections. Currently I have been making stained glass. Life can throw all kinds of stuff our way and for me creating or making something, anything, is an outlet.

A stained-glass butterfly I created last summer.

I started teaching myself how to make stained glass about a year ago and found that I absolutely love it! I have a background in installing floor & wall tile. One day I had seen some stained glass suncatchers and they were so beautiful. I found myself looking it up online and thought I want to learn how to do that. Already having knowledge of cutting glass tiles I decided to dive right in.

Do you ever see something and think I want to learn how to do that?

There are so many things out there to learn and I have a tendency to want to learn it all. I can’t help it, it’s just who I am. Who knows this time next year I may have found yet another thing I want to learn. Sometimes I wonder if I might be ADHD, with the way I can’t seem to stick to one thing for too long. Can anyone else relate to that?

In the meantime, I will keep creating stained glass and sharing about it, along with other life stuff.
